Monitoring and Evaluation Lead
GSG Impact is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Lead to design, implement, and enhance our Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) systems in line with our new 2025-2028 strategy.
This role will develop fit-for-purpose tools, processes, and metrics that enable data-driven decision-making, enhance accountability, and deepen insights for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in global non-profits or impact investment sectors.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing MEL systems and tools.
- Demonstrated experience in data visualisation (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data management.
- Knowledge of evaluating progress across geographies, particularly in emerging markets.
Skills and Competencies:
- Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and survey platforms (e.g., Survey Monkey,
Qualtrics, Google Forms).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to write impactful reports and deliver presentations.
- Collaborative mindset, with experience engaging stakeholders across cultural and organisational boundaries.
