Elizabeth Boggs Davidsen

Prior to GSG Impact, she was the Vice President of the Office of Development Policy at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC). She led a team of environmental, social, impact and technical assistance experts and was responsible for safeguarding environmental and social risk of DFC’s investments; ensuring all projects maximise positive development outcomes; and deploying technical assistance to develop and improve DFC’s projects.

Before her work at DFC, Elizabeth was the Director of SDG Impact, a flagship initiative of the United Nations Development Programme focused on mobilising private sector capital in support of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.  For the majority of her career, she held leadership roles at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and led the impact investing portfolio of the largest fund administered by IDB.
