Cliff Prior

Cliff is currently advising on a suite of companies, working on the interconnection of SME development, health, impact and AI. These include Gifftid.AI for SME support, Impact Licensing, epigenetics, and how impact can become tradeable - including through developing an impact outcomes marketplace. Cliff is also a board member of the funding committee of City Bridge.

By training, Cliff is a biochemist and a counsellor. His background includes social and special needs housing, offender resettlement, health and mental health, social entrepreneur support, impact investing, and market building. He had CEO roles at Rethink, UnLtd, Better Society Capital, and GSG Impact. His non profit work with City Bridge follows previous work with the National Lottery Community Fund, Comic Relief, UCL Partners, Care City, Clore Social Leadership, the Local Trust, and working groups for the GSG in its early stages.

Cliff’s governmental roles have included the HealthCare Commission, Medicines Commission, the Cabinet Office’s Civil Society Advisory Body, the Mental Health Taskforce, and the NHS Modernisation Board.

Cliff is a founder member of both Strutton and Stonewall Housing Associations. He is delighted to have met so many passionate and determined people across the globe who are improving their people and our shared planet. His core priority is to leave people and organizations with more capability and capacity for their futures.
